Loading Traffic Lights - Beacon® BSG Series

The Loading Traffic Lights feature stop and go lights which flash red or green to let truck drivers know when it is safe to enter or depart the loading dock. The inside traffic signal dock light also alerts the dock worker as to when the truck is safely docked and loading and unloading may begin. Signal Lights can be wired as manual or automatic. Three types of models are available: The BSG30 series an inside and outside set including inside light box with toggle switch control and flasher in addition to an outside drone light box. The BSG20 series is an inside light box with toggle switch and flasher. The BSG10 is an outside drone traffic signal dock light box to be electrically supported by the BSG20 light box. By flipping the switch on the toggle switch control unit, either the red or green light will flash on the inside light box control unit and the opposite will flash on the drone.

• Construction: Models feature sturdy polypropylene construction.
• Size: Models are 11-3/8" high x 6-3/8" wide x 3-3/4" deep. The lens diameter is 4-1/4".
• Electrical: The user is responsible for supplying a flashing supply for incandescent BSG10 models. Models feature 12 or 24V DC power or 115V AC power. The 12 and 24V BSG10 models can be operated on AC or DC power.
• Powered: Never allow the BSG10 incandescent models to burn continuously. LED models may use steady burn mode.
• Installation: Limit switch can be installed on overhead door track by others to allow for traffic signal dock light automatically to change.
• Color: Models feature either a Beacon safety yellow housing or a Beacon black housing. All units include red and green lenses.
• Weight: 2 lbs.
• Note: The customer may receive lower insurance premiums by installing loading traffic lights.
• Usage: Automatic Application: Limit Switch mounted on inside overhead door track. The Traffic Dock Light changes when the overhead door raises or lowers. When door is closed the outside light is green and inside is red. When the door is open the outside is red and inside green.
• Operation: Standard toggle switch allows for manual light change operation. Limit switch allows for auto light change operation when the door is raised or lowered.
• Standard: The inside BSG30 & BSG20 series include an external toggle switch controller and internal flasher. The BSG10 Series has no toggle switch and is controlled by the inside traffic signal light box.
