Portable Gantry Crane - Bear Claw® BFHS Series

The Portable Gantry Crane - Rolling Hoist is designed to be an industrial portable, fixed height crane. The series is designed with a fixed head beam to be more economical than the gantry cranes with adjustable head beams.

• Construction: This unit is constructed from heavy duty solid steel components.
• Size: Fixed height design. The overall beam length ranges from 8' to 20' and the beam height ranges from 4" to 12". The flange width ranges from 2.66" up to 6", and the base width ranges from 46-1/2" to 76".
• Service Range: Since this unit has a fixed height head beam, the service range is classified fixed at 10' under the head beam.
• Installation: Note: All units are shipped disassembled. All products should be inspected frequently to ensure safe operation. Final testing and inspecting is left to the end user after final assembly has been completed. For further details see ASME B30.17.
• Color: Portable Gantry Crane models feature a blue finish.
• Operation: These models are not to be moved while loaded.
• Capacities: The unit is available in six different capacities: 500 lbs., 2,000 lbs., 4,000 lbs., 6,000 lbs., 8,000 lbs., or 10,000 lbs.
• Standard: The large casters allow for movement of this series. The unit is supplied with large 8" diameter 4 position locking swivel phenolic casters with roller bearings to facilitate easy movement from one work area to another.
• Options: Portable Gantry Crane options include power traction drive with 3-button hand control, total locking casters, V-groove casters and V-groove track.
