ATLAS Industrial horizontal louvers are unique in providing the industries’ widest louver providing 100% direct visual screening at over 60% openness. Only PalmSHIELD’s ATLAS Industrial horizontal mechanical equipment louvers use a 3” x 3” x ¼” angle structural picture frame design that allows for a considerable weld length to attach each louver.

Only ATLAS Industrial horizontal louvers use a 2” x 1/8” aluminum flat bar not to exceed 24” apart to support the louvers between the framework. This support prevents distortion under high winds and increased security.

Larger than most systems, PalmSHIELD uses a 4” x 4” x ¼” or 3/8” system post. The larger and thicker walled posts is what provides such considerable wind load engineering. What is especially important to us is the finish an aluminum post provides making a clean transition from post to panel. Posts typically do not exceed sixty inches on center. All nuts, bolts and fasteners are stainless steel.
