Sheetrock® Brand MH Gypsum Base Board Firecode® X (UL Type SCX) are 5/8 in. (15.9 mm) Type X panels specially designed for the Manufactured Housing and Modular Housing industries, meeting the needs of time sensitive construction and structural integrity. The panels are thirdparty system-tested to ensure compliance with HUD Manufactured Home Construction Standard, are listed as to shear resistance by Progressive Engineering Inc., Product Evaluation Report PER-01146, and may be fastened with a two-part polyurethane adhesive, a one-part polyurethane adhesive, PVA adhesive, mechanical fasteners or a combination of adhesive and mechanical fasteners, offering greater construction flexibility and superior performance. The panels feature a noncombustible gypsum core that is encased in 100% recycled face and back papers. The face paper is folded around the square long edges to reinforce and protect the core, and the ends are cut square and even. The panels are UL Classified for fire resistance and can be used in any UL Design in which Type SCX panels are listed.
