Transaction Window Size & Accessories

Our windows can be completely customized to your system. As we plan and design your interior barriers, we’ll take detailed measurements of your space to ensure all pieces fit together smoothly and allow your employees to do their best work. To accompany your security transaction windows, we’ll recommend which voice ports, passing trays, or other functional accessories would work best for your operational and safety plan.

Most of our transaction windows are fabricated using bulletproof acrylic tested to UL Levels 1-3. Your TSS consultant will help you determine which window and/or ballistic frame combination will provide you with your ideal aesthetics and protection level.

Interior Transaction Windows

This type of window is appropriate for small businesses or customer-facing offices needing an increased level of security. Interior transaction windows are also available with stainless steel deal trays that can be counter mounted or recessed.

Framing options include aluminum, prime painted steel, or stainless steel with a plastic laminate base and recessed cash tray. Aluminum frames are completed with a satin or dark bronze anodized finish or a custom colored Kynar coating to protect against aging and match your design preferences. Environmentally-friendly Kynar coating options that are fluorosurfactant-free and compliant with regulations in certain states (including California) are available upon request.

Horizontal Sliding Transaction Window

Protection Level: 1-5
This bullet-resistant transaction window is ideal for high traffic facilities, such as medical, government or law offices, as well as pharmacies and gas stations. The window can slide open to easily pass large packages or documents, and offers good overall sound transmission. Framing options include: satin or dark bronze anodized aluminum, prime painted steel or stainless steel. Available as counter mount or recessed stainless steel configuration.

Arched Backer Transaction Window

Protection Level: 1-8
The Arched Backer Transaction Window applies only to interior applications, making it more economical for the budget-conscious. Framing options include: satin or dark bronze anodized aluminum, prime painted steel or stainless steel with a plastic laminate base and recessed cash tray. Available as counter mount or recessed stainless steel configuration.

Speak Hole and Backer Window

Protection Level: 1-8
The Speak Hole and Backer Transaction Window applies only to interior applications, making it more economical for the budget-conscious. Framing options include: satin or dark bronze anodized aluminum, prime painted steel or stainless steel with a plastic laminate base and recessed cash tray. Voice transmission is via a 6” acrylic portal with a 10” oversized backer.

Baffle Transaction Window

Protection Level: 1-8
The Baffle Interior Transaction window is one of TSS’s premier products, offering the best sound transmission available for bullet-resistant barriers. There are no visual obstructions making this barrier attractive and as unobtrusive as possible. The frame is offered in satin or dark bronze anodized aluminum, prime painted steel or stainless steel with a plastic laminate base and recessed cash tray.

The Arched Transaction Window applies only to interior applications. Framing options include: satin or dark bronze anodized aluminum, prime painted steel or stainless steel with a plastic laminate base and recessed cash tray. Available as counter mount or recessed stainless steel configuration.

Transaction Window With Package Passer

Protection Level: 1-3
The Interior Transaction Window with Package Passer has a plastic laminate base and recessed cash tray. Voice transmission is via acrylic voice portal. Window includes standard 14” x 14” x 14” package passer for passing large items in an area with limited space.

Voice Transmission Transaction Windows

Designed to allow easy voice transmission for comfortable conversations, these barriers encourage satisfying transactions and limit frustration from customers.

Protection Level: 1-3
This all-aluminum transaction window allows for natural voice communication by featuring a secure air passage for voice transmission through the frame. With no visual obstructions, this product is best for communication within three feet of the window.

The Stainless Steel Transaction Window has a frame of stainless steel with a plastic laminate base and recessed cash tray. Voice transmission is via natural voice transmission. Frame comes in #4 finish and 18 gauge steel. Available in counter mount or recessed stainless steel configuration.
