A-2000™ PVC Pipe
With a 100+ year service life, A-2000 withstands corrosive attack from both acidic and alkaline soils, is unaffected by chemicals found in normal sewage, and is a cost-effective alternative to other pipe products.
Proven PVC Pipe for Sanitary and Storm Sewer Applications
A-2000 is a seamless profile wall PVC pipe extruded with a smooth interior and corrugated exterior. A-2000 provides excellent durability and resistance to abrasion and scour. It withstands corrosive attack from both acidic and alkaline soils and is unaffected by chemicals found in normal sewage. A-2000 has a proven track record in a variety of applications including sanitary sewers, storm sewers and subdrainage systems since 1984.
A-2000 is a cost-effective alternative to polypropylene, SDR35, ductile iron, RCP and glass fiber reinforced pipe products used in sanitary sewer applications. A-2000s superior strength, joint tightness, and overall quality have made it a standard in the industry.
Engineered for gravity flow applications in depths exceeding 30 feet, A-2000 should be specified whenever you consider using PVC sewer pipe.
A-2000 far exceeds the durability and service life of HDPE drainage pipe and provides material stiffness up to six times greater than HDPE. And unlike HDPE plastic drainage pipe, A-2000 has a minimum of 46 pipe stiffness for all diameters.
A-2000 is also more hydraulically effective than HDPE or concrete pipe, meaning A-2000 can be designed as a smaller and less expensive pipe.

A-2000 for Storm Sewers
In recent years, the use of thermoplastic pipe for stormwater drainage systems has gained wide acceptancebased upon performance and economic advantages when contrasted with more conventional drainage pipe materials. However, when it comes to performance, not all thermoplastic storm sewer pipes are equal. There are distinct differences between A-2000 Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) drainage pipes in comparison with other drainage pipes that can affect overall pipe system performance.
CMP and PVC Pipe for Rehabilitating Storm, Sanitary Sewers and Small Culverts
Reline drainage structures with hydraulically efficient corrugated steel, aluminum or PVC pipe. ULTRA FLO and HEL-COR are CMP Pipes available in standard diameters through 120 and 144" respectively. Special diameters are also available in both products. The PVC pipe systems, A-2000 and A2 Liner Pipeused for both drainage structures and sanitary sewersare available through 36 diameter.
CMP and PVC Pipe for Pipe Reline
Lining inadequate or failing structures with corrugated metal material or plastic pipe uses little of the available area, thereby preserving the maximum amount of the original opening. Due to the hydraulic efficiency of Contech products, often a smaller structure provides the same hydraulic capacity as the original because of the low Manning n factors of A-2000 and A2 Liner PVC pipes and HEL-COR and ULTRA FLO CMP pipes. Existing pipes and arches are generally lined with structures of the same shape, though slightly smaller in size. Rectangular openings can be lined with round, elliptical or pipe arch structures. Corrugated metal structures can fit almost any existing shape.
A-2000 for Sanitary Sewers
Comparable to PVC SDR-35, A-2000 offers superior strength and performance at a tremendous value.
A-2000 for Irrigation
When compared to other thermoplastic pipes on the market, A-2000 stands up to the test. In fact, it comes out on top. With 15 psi-rated joints it can be utilized in low pressure head water conveyance pipelines.
