Air and vapor barriers are critical to building longevity. As an innovator in AVB technology, we offer products like Fire Resist, the industry's first AVB line designed and tested for NFPA 285 wall assemblies.

Air barriers are essential for a high-performing building envelope. They dramatically improve building energy efficiency, indoor comfort and longevity. CCW provides three types of air barriers: self-adhered sheet; fluid-applied; and fluid-applied, vapor-permeable. All have been evaluated by the Air Barrier Association of America (ABAA) and meet the most stringent energy codes including: 2012 & 2015 IECC; 2010 & 2013 ASHRAE 90.1; Massachusetts Energy Code 780 CMR; and the Canadian National Building Code. Fire-Resist products are formulated for burn resistance and have passed the NFPA 285 test in many wall assemblies. To increase moisture barrier protection, CCW also provides a variety of flashing products for use with air and vapor barrier systems.
