The V-Series standard sunshades from Accurate Perforating are a full line of pre-engineered vertical sunshades designed to add beauty and functionality to any facility. Sunshades provide an economical and durable way to reduce energy cost, update and customize the exterior appearance of a building. This series of perforated metal sunshades are available in four standard widths (12, 18, 24 and 30 inches) and four standard lengths (6, 8, 10 and 12 feet) and can be mixed and match to fit most curtain wall or other window application. A fully integrated mounting bracket system and concealed hardware are included in this system.

The pre-engineered sunshade system reduces or eliminates the need for project specific product testing including wind loading, rain loading and seismic activity rating when applicable. Sunshades and screens are effective at controlling the amount of sunlight that reaches the interior of a building, lowering the cooling cost. In cooler climates, these shades also can reduce the necessary heating cost of a facility by reducing the cooling effect of falling rain on the exterior of a building.

The proprietary mounting brackets are extruded from 6063-T6 grade aluminum and finished with an architectural grade anodized coating. Each bracket is specifically designed for use on select building materials such as wood, concrete, block and curtain wall. The (Accu-Shim) self securing shims developed by Accurate Perforating are used to position the sunshade panels into the mounting brackets. These shims are inserted after the mounting hardware is installed, utilizing a unique channel system to perfectly position the shim and secure it in place making it virtually impossible to fall free from the bracket or sunshade. The low profile interlocking hardware used to secure the sunshades to the bracket are corrosion resistant and provide a highly esthetic clean finish to the installation.
