  With polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation that boasts a U-factor* of .26 for Models 9100 and 9605 (R -value** of 10 for Model 9605 and 9 for Model 9100), our classic steel garage doors can improve your home’s thermal efficiency and block street noise. A bottom weather seal blocks draft and debris from the garage. (R-value of 9 for 7' tall doors; R-value of 10 for 8' tall doors.)

Classic Steel garage door Models 9100 and 9605 are available in five stylish designs-Short Panel, Long Panel, Flush Panel, Vertical Short Panel or Vertical Long Panel. Wayne Dalton offers an incredible selection of window panels. Choose from 31 window options for Short and Flush Panels options, 29 choices for Vertical Short Panel, and 22 options for our Long and Vertical Long Panels. Whether you envision your Classic Steel garage doors with arched toppers, a tidy row of panes up high, we’re here to help you bring your vision to life-and light!

Optional Window Placement

Clear windows may be arranged vertically or horizontally on Short, Long and Flush panel designs. Up to 50% of the door can include windows. Windows placed in the bottom section of a door must use DSB 1/8”, or tempered, or 1/2” insulated glass. Vertical windows will be placed as a special order.

Not all window options are available with every panel style. Window options are not interchangeable between panel options. Window patterns are shown for a typical single-car door. Spacing of windows may change depending on door size. Not all windows are available in all sizes or all areas.

Glass is available in Clear, Tinted, Satin Etched or Obscure. Optional insulated glass is also available for improved thermal performance to work in tandem with your door’s polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation.

Choose Your Hardware

Inspired by the artisanry of traditional blacksmiths, our decorative hardware collections lend a distinctive, yet subtle touch of individuality to your garage doors. Hinge straps, pull handles and other accent pieces inspired by the Old World and early Americana add a touch of rustic elegance to your Classic Steel garage door.

Knockers, corner brackets and clavos are a respectful nod to the decorative nails and studs craftsmen have used to accent entry doors for centuries. Every piece is forged from black powder-coated steel finished with a hand-hammered look.

Decorative hardware kits come with four hinges and two pull handles. Double car doors come with two sets of decorative hardware kits. Additional accent pieces are available to match or complement each collection. Pull handle fit in center stile is dependent upon design and size of door.
