Sheetrock® Brand Joint Tapes include Sheetrock® Brand Drywall Joint Tape and Sheetrock® Brand Heavy Joint Tape. Use these strong, cross-fibered tapes with our joint compounds to reinforce joints and corners. The roughened surface ensures a strong bond and features a positive crease that simplifies corner applications. *As of November 17, 2017, all Sheetrock® and Beadex® Brand Joint tape products meet ASTM C475. This includes both our standard joint tape and heavy joint tape products.

Main Features

Sheetrock® Brand Joint Tapes can be used for joint treatments in veneer finish systems that are subject to rapid drying conditions and where framing exceeds 16" (406 mm) spacing.

Sheetrock® Brand Drywall Joint Tape has a unique cross-fiber construction that provides greater drywall joint strength and crack resistance.

• Self-adhesive tape goes on quickly - eliminates bedding coat and provides smooth finished joints with just two coats

• Use USG Sheetrock® Brand Durabond® Setting-Type Joint Compound or USG Sheetrock® Brand Easy Sand™ Lightweight Setting-Type Joint Compound for first coat over tape

• Provides 2-coat, 1-day joint finishing
