Durock™ Brand Waterproofing Membrane Band

A waterproofing membrane band for sealing seams in waterproof applications.

A thin and durable membrane for sealing seams in waterproofing systems features a low-density polyethylene (LDPE)core that provides flexibility, strength, and tear resistance. At a thickness of 13 mil, it adds minimal buildup at theseams while also being exceptionally pliable and user-friendly. It is ideal for use with USG Durock™ BrandUncoupling Mat in applications where waterproofing is required.

Main Features

The Durock™ Brand Waterproofing Membrane Product conforms to ANSI A118.10 American National StandardSpecifications for Load Bearing, Bonded, Waterproof Membranes for Thin-set Ceramic Tile and Dimension Stone Installation.

  • Thin (13 mil) pliable membrane with minimal buildup at seams

  • Highly tear-resistant, yet easy to handle and install

  • Approved for use with modified or unmodified thin-set mortars

  • Ideal for use with USG Durock™ Brand Uncoupling Mat

  • Low Perm Rating (<0.07 perms) per ASTM E96 Procedure E
