All aluminum frames are completed with a clear satin or dark bronze anodized finish, or you may request a custom paint color to match your existing building aesthetics. We can match any color with Kynar coating, a specialized product that adds durability to aluminum materials and protects against aging. Kynar coating is also available in a fluorosurfactant-free option that is environmentally-friendly and accepted in states with increased regulations for paint products (including California). Powder coating and other anodized finishes are also available to customize your frame.

TSS-BL1.75 Framing System

Protection Level: 1-3

The TSS-BL1.75 bullet-resistant aluminum frame is designed to accept bullet-resistant glazing (acrylic, laminated polycarbonate or glass-clad polycarbonate) materials from 3/4″ to 1-3/8″ thick. The extruded aluminum is UL certified to defeat ballistic assaults up to a .44 magnum. Available in a clear satin or dark bronze anodized along with custom paint color finishes upon request.

TSS-BL2.5 Framing System

Protection Level: 1-3

The TSS-BL2.5 bullet-resistant aluminum channel is designed to accept bullet-resistant glazing (acrylic, laminated polycarbonate, or glass clad polycarbonate) materials from ¾” to 1⅜” thick in a fixed opening. The extruded aluminum is UL certified to defeat ballistic assaults up to a .44 magnum. Available in a clear satin or dark bronze anodized along with custom paint color finishes upon request.

TSS-BL5.5 Framing System

Protection Level: 1-8

The TSS-BL5.5 bullet-resistant aluminum frame is designed to accept bullet-resistant glazing (glass clad polycarbonate) materials from 1¼” to 2½” thick. The extruded aluminum is UL certified to defeat ballistic assaults up to UL Level 8. Available in a clear satin or dark bronze anodized along with custom paint color finishes upon request.

TSS-650 Thermal Framing System

Protection Level: 1-8

The TSS-650 Thermal bullet-resistant aluminum frame is designed to accept bullet-resistant glazing (glass clad polycarbonate) materials from 1¼″ to 2½″ thick. The extruded aluminum is UL certified to defeat ballistic assaults up to a 7.62 mm caliber projectile (up to UL Level 8). Available in a clear satin or dark bronze anodized along with custom paint color finishes upon request.

The Non-Rated Framing is designed to accept bullet-resistant glazing (acrylic, laminated polycarbonate, or glass-clad polycarbonate) from ¾” to 1⅜” thick. Available in a clear satin or dark bronze anodized along with custom paint color finishes upon request.

Non-Rated Aluminum U-Channel

Protection Level: N/A

The TSS Non-Rated Aluminum U Channel is designed to accept bullet-resistant glazing materials (acrylic, laminated polycarbonate or glass clad polycarbonate) from ¾” to 1⅜” thick. TSS Non-Rated Channel is typically used for windows in Level 1 or 2 applications. Available in a clear satin, dark bronze anodized aluminum, or custom paint finish.

2-Piece Channel

Protection Level: N/A

The TSS Non-Rated Aluminum 2-Piece Channel is designed to accept bullet-resistant glazing acrylic, laminated polycarbonate, or glass clad polycarbonate materials from ¾” to 1⅜” in a fixed opening. The smaller profile of the channel allows for a larger viewing area. TSS Non-Rated Aluminum 2-Piece Channel is typically used for windows with UL Levels 1 or 2. Available in a clear satin, dark bronze anodized aluminum or custom paint finish.
