High Performance, Fast Setting, Cement-based resurfacer

SikaQuick Concrete Resurfacer is a polymer-modified, 1-component, cementitious resurfacing compound. Designed for use on exterior concrete substrates such as sidewalks, walkways, patios, parking garages, and residential driveways. Easily applied by smoothing trowel or rubber squeegee.

Usage

• To be used on concrete, above and below grade.

Application Steps

• Wet down all tools and mixer to be used.
• Pour 6.0 - 6.5 pints ( 2.8 - 3.1 liters) of clean water into a suitably sized mixing container.
• Add the entire bag's contents of SikaQuick® Concrete Resurfacer to the mixing water while continuously mixing with a low-speed rotary drill (400-600 rpm) and paddle.
• Do not overwater as excess water may result in difficulty handling and/or not meeting stated typical physical performance values.
• Mix to a uniform consistency, maximum 3 minutes.

• SikaQuick® Concrete Resurfacer should be applied in one pass in thicknesses ranging from a true feather edge to 1/2 inch (13 mm) in depth.
• The placed material may be troweled, floated or broom finished.

• As per ACI recommendations for Portland cement concrete, curing is required.
• Moist cure with wet burlap and polyethylene, a fine mist of water or Sika® Antisol®-250W*.
• Curing compounds adversely affect the adhesion of following lifts of mortar, leveling mortar or protective coatings.
• Moist curing should commence immediately after finishing. Protect freshly applied mortar from direct sunlight, wind, rain, and frost.
