VariDoor™ Cabinet

VariDoor™ is the industry’s first variable acoustic cabinet with a hybrid diffusive/absorptive surface outside when closed. When the cabinet doors are opened, RPG’s hardwood diffusing FlutterFree solid wood plank on the inside is exposed. The cabinet doors can be positioned and adjusted with a Variable Depth Air Cavity (VDAC™) to alter reverberation time, control flutter echo, and correct low-frequency modal problems. The VariDoor™ is designed for multi-use recording and rehearsal spaces in which flexibility is paramount.

Unfinished, veneer with lacquer, veneer with custom stain or colored lacquer. Standard species include Alder, Anigre, Ash, Birch, Cherry, Mahogany, Maple, Poplar, Red Oak, Walnut and White Oak. Custom species may be available on request.
