Universal Safe-T-Strut™

Rite-Hite's Safe-T-Strut system helps prevent the collapse of dock levelers undergoing maintenance to protect personnel underneath. The Safe-T-Strut offers a central through-the-lip design that keeps the strut in place throughout the entire operating range of the leveler and supports the entire weight of both the leveler deck and lip.

• Strut is painted a high visibility yellow that can be seen above a raised dock leveler, providing a visual sign alerting others that a worker might be underneath a leveler.
• Lockout/Tagout helps protect maintenance professionals from fatal injuries if the leveler were to be unintentionally operated.
• Heavy duty chain and mounting base welded to frame and strut to ensure the strut remains in place while also helping to prevent theft.
• Optional extension handle helps prevent employees from crossing underneath the leveler and entering the pit area.
