2810 & 2910 Max-NT (Scrim Reinforced) Insulation

rFOIL® Max-NT is the first scrim-reinforced reflective bubble insulation in the industry.

It is made up of a layer of polyethylene bubbles bonded to a woven polyethylene scrim and sandwiched between two reflective radiant barrier film sheets (2810) or between a reflective radiant barrier film and a white polyethylene sheet.

rFOIL® Max-NT is designed to provide superior tear-resistance, and excellent holding strength when stapled as an underlayment.

rFOIL® Max-NT is engineered to reduce radiant heat gain/loss in residential, agricultural and commercial applications. The product also helps control interior condensation by providing an airtight thermal break that also effectively reduces heat transfer.

The Max-NT Series is the first Reflective Insulation (with a reinforced scrim) to come with an unmatched 10 Year Guarantee against ultraviolet light degradation, delamination, cracking, peeling or flaking. The guarantee includes new material and up to $0.75/sqft for any labor replacement costs

Both the 2810 series and the 2910 series employ a patented technology which consists of a layer of polyethylene bubbles bonded to a polyethylene scrim and sandwiched between two sheets.

The only difference between the two products is that the 2810 series, with its reflective facing side has a shiny, metallic silver surface that gives it a high-gloss, mirror-like finish. In contrast, the 2910 series with it’s white poly facing side features a matte white surface that offers a cleaner, more subdued appearance. While the 2810 series reflective foil side creates a bright, eye-catching look, the 2910 series white poly provides a more neutral and versatile aesthetic suitable for a variety of interior settings.
