Duct Insulation (Indoor and Outdoor)

The Reflectix® Duct Insulation is an excellent fiber-free alternative to other types of duct insulations. Installers nationwide, attest to the “ease of handling and installation” that contributes to a reduction in labor cost for this product (during installation). It is installed by wrapping either rectangular or round ductwork in HVAC applications. The Reflectix® Duct Insulation is available through Contractor Sales Groups or Industrial / Commercial Building Products Suppliers.

Description:

• Reflectix® Indoor Duct Insulation consists of two layers of highly reflective film (96% reflectivity) that are bonded to two tough layers of polyethylene. Two inner layers of insulating bubbles resist conductive heat flow while a center layer of polyethylene gives Reflectix® high reliability and strength. The product has a tape running the length of the roll for easy identification by code officials. The tape identifies the manufacturer and ASTM Testing: Reflectix® Duct Insulation • ASTM E84 • Class A / Class 1 • ASTM C411 Passed
• Reflectix® Outdoor Duct Insulation consists of two outer layers of aluminum foil that reflect 97% of radiant heat. The outside layer of foil is made of heavier foil. Each layer of foil is bonded to a tough layer of polyethylene for strength. Two inner layers of insulating bubbles resist conductive heat flow while a center layer of polyethylene gives Reflectix® high reliability and strength.
