Built for PalmSHIELD gates weighing in excess of 5000 lbs, this hinge offers never before seen flexibility, ease of installation and lasting durability. Weld-on hinges are a poor design requiring skilled welders not readily available and no further adjustments over time. The Gorilla 3000 is a bolt-on adjustable hinge with massive bearing plates and hinge pin for oversized gates. Unlike other weld-on hinges, the Gorilla 3000 hinge leaves only a one inch gap between the gate post and gate frame when installed. No more un-sightly gaps. Let’s face it. Gates are constantly moving in and out with 1000s of pounds of cantilevered load. These will require adjustment. The Gorilla Hinge 3000 was designed with the end user in mind. Not only does the hinge use a bolt-on design requiring no welding, but the lower hinge leaf has large slots for future field adjustments that can be performed by end users.
Key Features - 5,000 lb Load Capacity. With two 4 3/8” x 4” x ½” hinge leafs and a ¾” hinge pin, this hinge bears a massive amount of weight providing consistent reliable performance over time.
