It connects a compatible Zigbee capable Thermostat to an LG Multi V Indoor Unit or LG Inverter PTAC.

Overview

The Zigbee Dongle enables LG Multi V indoor units or LG Inverter PTAC's to communicate with compatible third-party Zigbee thermostats and other Zigbee devices. The Zigbee Dongle must be connected to the Multi V or Inverter PTAC Wi-Fi (CN-WF) port, and once paired with the third-party Zigbee device, permits both the read and write operation of the supported attributes.

• Process of joining, pairing, or binding the LG Zigbee Dongle with third-party devices.
• Supports HA1.2 and Z3.0.
• Third-party Zigbee device is configured as the "Coordinator".
• Thermostat HVAC Cluster, Fan Control Cluster, and LG specific attributes.
• Can be used simultaneously with Dry Contact (contact-type) and Central Controllers.
• Compatible with all Multi V IDUs manufactured after November 1, 2020.
