70 Durometer Nitrile Bearing Pads

Technical Data Sheet

Hanna Rubber Company’s 70 durometer nitrile (Buna-N) plain bearing pads offer maximum rigidity and load-bearing capacity for the most demanding bridge and heavy-construction applications, fully certified to AASHTO M251-06 Grade 3, AREMA Section 18, Caltrans Section 51, ASTM D4014, and CAN/CSA standards. Ideal for heavy steel girders, precast segments, and seismic restraint systems, these high-hardness pads control movement, absorb shocks, dampen vibration, and attenuate noise to maintain safety and longevity under extreme loads. Their robust nitrile compound provides excellent resistance to hydraulic fluids, oils, and fuel vapors. Available in thicknesses from 1/8″ up to 18″ and in 36″ or 48″ widths-with custom shapes, bevels, and edge profiles offered-our 70 durometer pads reliably operate between -10 °F and 300 °F, delivering unmatched performance for bridges, industrial plants, and marine structures throughout the U.S. and Canada.
