60 Durometer Neoprene Bearing Pads
Technical Data Sheet
Our 60 durometer neoprene (polychloroprene) plain bearing pads strike the perfect balance between firmness and adaptability for demanding infrastructure projects. Meeting AASHTO M251-06 Grade 3, AREMA Section 18, Caltrans Section 51, ASTM D4014, and CAN/CSA standards, these medium-hardness pads manage expansion and contraction of precast and steel components while mitigating dynamic loads, vibration, and noise to preserve structural integrity. With enhanced tear strength and abrasion resistance plus excellent weathering performance, they’re suited for bridge abutments, girder seats, seismic isolators, and heavy machinery bases. Standard inventory ranges from 1/8″ to 18″ thickness and 36″ or 48″ widths; custom durometer, size, and shape options are available on request. Our 60 durometer neoprene pads reliably operate between -10 °F and 250 °F, offering long-term durability for transportation, energy, and petrochemical infrastructure nationwide.
