Exam Room Counter Door - Rolling Counter Door
The Exam Room Counter Door allows for the safe treatment of behavioral health patients in standard rooms saving healthcare providers money and resources while providing the needed security for patients.
When it comes to durability, the exam room shutter comes standard with a steel curtain for optimal strength. It has impact resistant guides and end locks that ensure the curtain will stay within guides, should there be impact.
A completely flat surface facing the patient's room is created due to the fascia side motor sitting above the ceiling with the coil above the medical cabinet. When closed, the shutter completely covers sinks, cabinets, access to oxygen tanks and other potentially dangerous equipment. Fasteners are masked and the bottom bar is flat, eliminating all ligature points.
Exam Room Counter Door meets ASHRAE/Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) recommendations for all exam room finishes to be impact, tamper and ligature resistant.

Sensing Edge
Sensing Edge - Entrapment Protection Device
Designed with a flexible black rubber TPE material, our new sensing edge has two fins that conform to variations in the floor on both the interior and exterior of your door or grille ensuring a secure seal without requiring you to overset the bottom door limit. The sensing edge is easy to clean and remains free from rust and dirt stains, maintaining a fresh uniform appearance. With flexible 1" sealing fins, our sensing edges provide maximum protection while withstanding the elements.
Edges are tested and listed to UL 10B as a component of the rolling steel fire door assembly.
