Corrosion Resistant Service & Insulated Doors
Our rolling and insulated doors have been redesigned to meet the heavy-duty needs of water treatment plants and other high-corrosive environments. Our durable Corrosion Resistant Service and Insulated Doors reinforce your building’s structural integrity, reduce repair costs, and protect your equipment.
The standard operator for Corrosion Resistant Service and Insulated doors is a NEMA 4X that delivers dependability and is built to last cycle through cycle. Curtain and guides are available in 304SS or clear anodized finishes. Also available in stainless steel, the corrosion resistant door is made to withstand a static windload of 40SPF.
Other standard features include corrosion resistant fasteners, a stainless steel headplate, zinc coated bearing, a ZRG powder coated shaft, and stamped stainless steel endlock/windlock.
Each of these features ensures a safe, long-lasting design for water treatment plants, chemical storage facilities and any other harsh corrosive environment.
Sizes
- Standard construction up to 15' wide, 15' high
Usage
The doors are constructed for daily use and can withstand operation of up to 20 cycles per day - that’s 50,000 cycles for the lifetime of the door.
If your requirements call for more than 20 cycles per day, or 50,000 cycles lifetime, visit our line of High Performance Doors.
Standard Materials & Finishes
The Corrosion Resistant Service and Insulated Doors are available in 304SS or Clear Anodized curtain and guides
Available Operators
Corrosion Resistant Service and Insulated Doors comes standard with a NEMA 4X operator which is designed for continuous use.
Performance Upgrades
LED Visual Light Kit
The LED Light Kit provides a high-visible status indication for overhead doors and grilles. Designed for challenging environments like fire and emergency services, parking garages, and warehouses, the effective LED light strips limit downtime, maintenance, and repair costs.
Magic Switch
A touchless activation device designed to open and close doors with the wave of a hand. It's compatible with all operators that have a primary entrapment device and are configured for momentary contact to close. The Magic Switch is easy to retrofit in an existing application and features a clean, stainless steel face plate.
High Cycle Springs
Heavy duty springs manufactured to withstand cycles of 100,000.
Seismic Performance Validation
We can provide project specific seismic calculations for all coiling doors that are mounted Face of Wall to steel or masonry. Seismic performance validation is per ASCE 7-05.
Safety & Protection
Sensing Edge - Entrapment Protection Device
Designed with a flexible black rubber TPE material, our new sensing edge has two fins that conform to variations in the floor on both the interior and exterior of your door or grille ensuring a secure seal without requiring you to overset the bottom door limit. The sensing edge is easy to clean and remains free from rust and dirt stains, maintaining a fresh uniform appearance. With flexible 1" sealing fins, our sensing edges provide maximum protection while withstanding the elements.
Edges are tested and listed to UL 10B as a component of the rolling steel fire door assembly.
To determine the best entrapment device for your application, check out our Entrapment Device Protection Overview document.
SafetyGard UL325 Light Curtain
A UL325 approved non-contact primary entrapment device that prevents damage to an object in the door’s pathway in addition to minimizing damage to the closure itself.
Entrapment Protection Devices
Entrapment protection devices ensure that a motorized door or grille will not close on an object. If an object enters path of closure, the entrapment protection device will stop the door or grille from closing and return it to the fully open position.
Guide-Mounted Interlocks
An electrical cutout switch to prevent motor operation if locking device is not first disengaged.
Heavy Duty Bottom Bar
The HDBB is 350% stronger than traditional bottom bars, preventing forklift damage to your Service or Insulated Door. The HDBB can pay for itself after the first impact and significantly reduce future maintenance costs.
RapidResponse
RapidResponse doors are provided with 3' or 6' of extra curtain, an impactable bottom bar and removable lower guide sections. These features allow for faster repair of slat damage, reducing downtime and maximizing the lifetime value of your door.

Rolling Door Protector (RDP)
The RDP eliminates costly fork truck damage to coiling doors by creating a physical barrier at the top of the door that absorbs impacts.
WeatherGard™
Include weather seals at the guides and bottom bar with an internal hood baffle at coil housing. Lintel mounted nylon brush seal also available.
Static Windload
Can be configured to withstand a static windload of 40 PSF
