Manual Loading Leveler - Beacon® BM5 Series

This versatile Mechanical Loading Leveler is our premium unit. The unit is designed to compensate for height disparities between the truck trailer bed and loading dock platforms. Our Mechanical Loading Leveler is available in a variety of sizes, heights and capacities to fit your loading dock needs.

Product Details
  • Construction: This series is constructed of heavy-duty welded steel. Includes sold steel structural "C" channel for maximum deck support. Each beam is fully welded to the full width header plate for full stability at the font. Includes dual 60,000 lb. safety legs.
  • Size: These models have deck widths of 6', 6.5', or 7' and nominal lengths of 6', 8', or 10'. Heights are either 19" or 24".
  • Color: Finish - Enamel base gray paint.
  • Operation: This Mechanical Loading Leveler is operated by a pull chain. Positive hold down device allows up and down float when in service. Unit includes direct extension spring counterbalance providing easy walk down during operation.
  • Capacities: The unit has service capacities ranging from 25,000 to 50,000 lbs.
  • Standard: Mechanical Loading Leveler comes standard with a 16" hinged lip with hydra lip assist, working range toe guards, and laminated 4-1/2" x 10" x 12" dock bumpers.
  • Limited Warranty: The 5 year limited warranty covers the structural pieces. The main springs are covered by a 4 year limited warranty, and a 1-year warranty is in place for the mechanical and miscellaneous parts. Extended warranties available.
  • Note: Testing, adjustments, training and scheduled maintenance procedures by others.
