Low Profile Dump Hopper - Beacon® BH-LD Series

Low Profile Dump Hopper - 90 Degree Self Dumping feature a full 90 degree dump angle. Fork truck accessibility provides quick dumping. These industrial hoppers can be dumped safely by the fork truck driver, without the driver needing to leave his seat. The units automatically return to locked position when lowered to the ground.

• Models: Units are available as light duty (-LD), medium duty (-MD), and heavy duty (-HD) hoppers. These options are determined by the steel's gauge.
• Construction: Units are constructed of heavy-duty steel along with welds to offer a leak-proof design.
• Size: The formed base thickness is 1/4". Models are either 24-1/2" to 49" wide, 46" or 51-1/4" deep, and 18-1/4" to 41" high. The overall height from front lip to the floor is 14-9/16", 20-5/8", or 26-15/16".
• Overall Fork Width: Fork truck openings on this hopper are 7" wide x 2" high. Fork pocket centers are at 11-5/8" or 21-5/8".
• Color: The hoppers have a powder coated blue finish. Contact Beacon for more optional finishes, including Beacon red, white, grey, green, blue, yellow, orange, and galvanized. Galvanized finishes are suitable for wet environments.
• Weight: Hoppers vary in weight from 171 to 575 lbs., depending upon size and capacity.
• Operation: This unit is operated by the user from the fork truck's seat.
• Capacity: Capacities range from 2,000 to 6,000 lbs. Volume capacities range from 1/4 to 1-1/2 cubic yards.
• Standard: A locking chain to secure the Low Profile Dump Hopper to fork trucks is provided standard. A 4' cable for safe, quick dumping is also included. Caster kits available as an option. It does not allow you to stop during the dump cycle.
• Options: Options include color and metal finishes, dump speed dampeners for 4,000- and 6,000-lb. models, and lifting lugs. The dampeners reduce the speed at which the chute rotates, allowing for more control of the Low Profile Dump Hopper.
• Note: All standard and special hoppers are stitch welded. Special continuous welds for liquid tight available at additional charge.
