MeltonCraft™ PVC Column Covers

The millwork artisans at Melton Classics offer you a myriad of column, pillar, pedestal and newel post designs in our MeltonCraft™ PVC Millwork line to provide you with the ultimate in low maintenance beauty and flexibility of design. Crafted from cellular PVC panel stock, our MeltonCraft™ columns and posts are economical and provide the look and feel of painted wood with very low maintenance and they won’t rot, or deteriorate like wood millwork.

Although offered in numerous standard designs, MeltonCraft™ Square Columns can be custom designed in any square shaft profile as a tapered square column or a non tapered column. Tuscan or Craftsman Column caps and bases are just a few of the many capital and base offerings to allow you to achieve the column design you desire. These low maintenance square columns are available in your choice of raised panel columns, recessed panel columns, fluted columns, or plain shaft columns. MeltonCraft™ Columns are offered in your choice of design in diameters from 6″ to 36″ and in heights from 4′ to 20′. Designed to function as a non-structural column cover or column wrap, MeltonCraft™ square columns are very low in cost compared to other square columns, and the installation is quick and simple so installation costs are kept low. MeltonCraft™ square column covers are provided dissassembled for installation flexibility and to allow easy installation of blocking, or as a column wrap with four pre-scored panels to wrap around your structural columns. Assembly can be achieved quickly and simply with adhesive and a brad nailer because the components of our MeltonCraft™ square columns, column piers, pillars and newel posts are shaped using a state of the art CNC (computer numeric controlled) router with an interlock miter design. This manufacturing process provides very tight part and joint tolerances that are unattainable in the field, and ensures easy installation, crisp corners and a beautiful installation.

Economical non-structural pedestals, pillars and newel post covers are also available in your choice of custom styles and sizes like the ones pictured above in MeltonCraft™ PVC. Our millwork artisans can craft you a pedestal or newel post with a plain, raised panel or, recessed panel shaft design in your choice of size to enhance your project.
