Standard Canopy

ILI’s standard metal canopies are fabricated to meet each project’s requirements. Extruded aluminum tube components and panel supports are combined with flat bar outriggers and mounting brackets to create a clean, finished look. Suspension rods at least every 16′ (4.88 m) to 20’ (6.01 m) provide additional support.

STANDARD CONSTRUCTION

• Material: Extruded Aluminum 6063-T6 and/or 6061-T6, Sheet Aluminum 3000 and/or 5000 Series
• Fascia: Rectangular Tube, 0.125” (3.2mm) nominal wall thickness
• Panel Supports: 2” x 2” square tube, 0.125” (3.2mm) nominal wall thickness
• Panels: Aluminum Sheeting, 0.125” (3.2mm) nominal thickness
• Outriggers: Flat Bar, .25” (6.4mm) or .375” (9.5mm) nominal wall thickness
• Mounting Brackets: Extruded Aluminum Tee
• Suspension Rods: 3/4” (19mm) diameter aluminum rod w/clevis ends
• Finish: Mill

Canopy Finishes

Custom finishing provides additional design flexibility. We have in-house painting for Kynar finishes. Finishing product in-house ensures we can enforce the highest possible quality standards, reduces lead times and provides us with the flexibility to manage our own finishing schedule. Kynar finishes are resistant to chalking, abrasion and ultraviolet light and keeps products looking new for years. Our standard finish carries up to a 20 year warranty.
