Adhered PVC Roofing Systems - Sarnacol® 2121
Performance and Aesthetics
Unlike mechanically-attached roofing systems where the membrane is secured to the system using fasteners, adhered roofing systems secure the membrane to the system using adhesive. Sika Sarnafil has many different types of adhesives to meet your projects specific needs such as water-based, solvent-based, low/no VOC, low-rise foam and self-adhered. Below are some of the reasons why a Sarnafil adhered roofing system might be the best fit for your project.
Adhered System Benefits: - Proven Performance Sarnafil Membrane
- Contour to uniquely shaped roofs
- For both low and steep slope applications
- Aesthetically pleasing
- High-wind uplift resistance
- Eliminates sheet flutter and “billowing”
- Best option for “non-nailable” substrates
- No fastener penetration in the membrane
- Adhered feltback membrane minimizes substrate imperfections
- Standing-seam metal roof appearance with Décor Profile
Membrane Designed Specifically for Adhered ApplicationsSika Sarnafil was the first single-ply company to develop a membrane specifically for adhered roofing applications. The Sarnafil G 410 membrane has a non-woven fiberglass mat for superior dimensional stability and a low coefficient of thermal expansion and contraction - factors critical to the long term adhesion to the substrate. The G 410 membrane has the best dimensional stability of any single-ply membrane, based on testing to ASTM D 1204.
