For roofs without an eave, we offer the Hi-Perf Dual Vent to create airflow. The efficient design and easy installation of the Dual Vent translates into cost savings from lower labor costs and decreased heating and cooling costs.

Additional savings result from extending the life of the roof. By providing the airflow the roof needs, the Hi-Perf Dual Vent restricts heat build-up and moisture accumulation under the roof covering that can lead to premature deterioration. In addition, Metal-Era backs the product with the leading wind and ventilation warranty in the industry.

Features / Benefits

Warranty:

The Hi-Perf Wind and Ventilation Warranty is available on all Metal-Era manufactured Hi-Perf ventilation systems. It guarantees that Hi-Perf systems:

• when designed according to the Metal-Era calculated NFA will provide proper ventilation for the project
• will withstand winds of up to 130 miles per hour
• will be free of defects in Metal-Era supplied materials

The warranty covers repair or replacement of the system for 20 years or the lifetime of the roof on which it was originally installed, whichever comes first.

Available Materials:

Its unique design allows for covers to be manufactured in 24 ga steel, .040", .050" and .063" aluminum.

Splice Plates:

Concealed splice plates provide a cleaner, more aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Airflow:

Guarantees required intake airflow near the eave to help prevent heat buildup and moisture accumulation under the roof covering, thereby increasing the life of the roof. It is perfect for roof deck systems in designs with integrated gutters or without soffits and is engineered to work with all vented nailbase products or ventilated attic systems.

Efficient Design:

Engineered to individual job requirements; this ensures that it will perfectly fit each roof condition. It also reduces the number of trades involved, thus consolidating responsibility.

The all metal construction withstands heavy snow loads and will not compress under stress making for the perfect weather and bug proof system.

It is provided in 12'-0" lengths with pre-punched holes for quicker installation and lower labor costs. The fastening holes are slotted to allow for proper thermal movement of the materials and ensure correct fastener placement and spacing.

Colors:

Choose among a wide range of standard colors and finishes that meet your job requirements. A 30 year Kynar 500® finish warranty is included on coil-coated standard colors. Custom post-coated Kynar 500® colors are available with an included 10 year Kynar 500® finish warranty or a 20 year Kynar 500® finish warranty is available upon request.

Anodized finishes are also available and come with a 5 year warranty (no warranty available for coil anodized finishing. Post-coat/Class 1 Batch Anodized is available with a 5 Year warranty with an option to increase to a 10 Year warranty for an upcharge).

Net Free Area Value:

Different sheathing openings available to accommodate for NFA values ranging from 6-36 square inches per lineal foot.
