Slotted Angle Features

Lyon makes the light-duty 6530 slotted steel angle from rugged, 14-gauge cold-rolled steel. Each piece measures 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ x 120″ and features a non-flaking galvanized finish. This silver finish provides an industrial look that fits nicely in most locations. The galvanized finish will also hold up to harsher conditions more so than other slotted steel angle iron. The horizontal and vertical oval-shaped holes allow for precise adjustment of each slotted metal angle.

Assembly and Installation

We stamp each piece of light-duty 6530 slotted steel angle clearly on 3-inch centers. This helps with quick and simple measuring and cutting. The perforated metal angles bolt together to form a wide variety of both beam and upright configurations. Pieces cut easily with a Sawzall, hacksaw, or miter saw with a metal cutting wheel. This ten pack of 10-foot light-duty pre-punched angle also includes 40 nuts and bolts. The waffle pattern backs make the nuts self-locking.
