Ollie

Urban space is valuable real estate and too much of it is underused. UrbanEdge is a collection of landscape framing and furniture elements designed specifically to help designers make more effective use of under utilized space. Created in collaboration with award-winning landscape architects Gustafson Guthrie Nichol (GGN,) the collection looks at the urban fabric with a fresh eye.
Ollie is the small seating element in the UrbanEdge family. Like the other chairs in the collection, it has a welcoming oval-shaped seat and is available with a curved-band back or without. Ollie seats one, in conventional sitting posture or astraddle, and rotates 360º, so sitters can face the sun or the action, and turn away as the spirit moves. Seats can be installed side-by-side in a row, scattered throughout a site, or positioned around the low Stella table to create a residential-like setting in public space.
