Urban space is valuable real estate and too much of it is underused. UrbanEdge is a collection of landscape framing and furniture elements designed specifically to help designers make more effective use of under utilized space. Created in collaboration with award-winning landscape architects Gustafson Guthrie Nichol (GGN,) the collection looks at the urban fabric with a fresh eye.
The rail is a stand-up performer. With the 3” top it is the perfect leaning rail at transit stops. With the 12” top it becomes a convenient café or bar counter. Standing alone, it stakes out space. With mesh infill, it provides separation and enclosure for restaurants with sidewalk seating.
