This style of square tubing and components are easy to install because it requires no welding to connect sections of tubing or mount them to surfaces. To properly install it along your bar, just use your chosen style of bar rail bracket. Be sure to carefully measure where each one will be placed before drilling into your bar, wall, or floor. Bar brackets should be placed at each end of the tubing for proper support, plus one for every 4-foot increment.
You can easily connect two tubing sections with an internal splicing sleeve. The seam between the two joined pieces is then covered by a bracket over the joint. You can also wrap this square bar foot rail around the corners of your bar or seating area with a 90-degree elbow fitting.
When ordering tubing, it’s always wise to round up to the nearest foot. If your bar is not an even full foot increment, but instead has some inch increment (i.e. 6'2", 7'2") you will need to order up to the next foot. So if your bar is 3'2" you will need to order a 4-foot piece of tubing; if your bar is 7'2", you will need to order an 8-foot piece of tubing, and so on. If this is the case, you will need to cut the rail with a miter saw prior to installation.
