RBI Shield™ is a multipurpose reflective bubble insulation for residential, commercial and institutional markets.
When used for a Sealed Crawl Space application provides an air and moisture barrier to improve indoor air quality and control pests. The system is a vapor retarder with added R-value to keep the floor warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer for greater efficiency and comfort. Subsequently, less load on HVAC units in some cases can prolong the life of these systems. Available in single and double bubble versions; standard widths of 16", 24", 48", 66" or 72" and 96" available through special order; square edge, staple tab or integrated tape tab; all rolls 125 ft length.
