Overview

Acoustic Lay-In Panels (ALPs)

Eckel’s Acoustic Lay-in Panels (ALPs) provide an effective noise and reverberation solution specifically for rooms with lay-in ceilings. Unlike regular acoustic ceiling tiles, ALPs enable maximum noise reduction and sound absorption as their perforated and corrugated design combined with acoustic rated infill absorb considerably more sound at various frequencies than the more reflective conventional panels. Since noisy spaces often can be corrected by replacing as little as one-third of the existing ceiling tile, Eckel ALPs offer a cost effective retrofit and remedy for noisy rooms.

Design

ALPs are fabricated from perforated metal (aluminum, galvanized steel or stainless steel). Standard panels measure 2 ft. by 2 ft. or 2 ft. by 4 ft.-to fit typical ceiling grid systems-but can be customized to accommodate non-standard grids. A catalyst-activated polyurethane enamel paint provides a range of finishes from matte to gloss in virtually any color. Designed to blend seamlessly into existing ceiling grid systems, ALPs maintain the interior aesthetic and provide a cost-effective way to reduce excessive noise. What’s more, they enhance spaces with their sleek and modern appearance.

Application

ALPs are ideal for solving noise and reverberation problems in nearly any room or interior space with a lay-in ceiling. They are perfect for use in libraries, museums, office and municipal buildings, academic facilities, hospitals and more.
