Douglas® Gym Floor Covers allow your gymnasium to be converted into an event area quickly and easily all while protecting your Gym Floor surface from unnecessary wear and tear. Most gymnasiums are also used for school dances, graduation ceremonies, concerts and other high foot traffic events. Douglas® durable Gym Floor Covers protect expensive gym floor surfaces from stains along with scuffs from shoes, chairs and tables.

All fabric options are antibacterial, anti-fungal, rot and mildew resistant, and Fire Retardant to meet all standard fire codes including NFPA 701 and California Fire Marshall. Choose from reversible Tan/Gray or Dark green/Navy Blue or solid colors of dark green, royal blue or open tournament blue.

Choosing the right Gym Floor Cover
The cover should meet your needs for strength, durability, general wear and tear and color choice. To know which material is best for you, you’ll want to consider two main factors: the type of events and the frequency of use.

For example, many facilities use their gym at least once a month for dances, concerts, trade shows and other events that require tales, chairs and other furniture. This calls for a cover with a high resistance to tearing and a thick, durable outer wear coating.

The cost of the cover may also be a consideration. In some situations, budget limitations can dictate the type of cover.

Mobile Storage Rack System
Mobile storage rack systems are an ideal solution for wrinkle-free storage of your gym floor cover sections. Storage racks offer a no-hassle installation and an easy, effective way to store your cover.

Racks are designed to hold up to 10’ wide sections of vinyl floor covering. Systems can hold up ten rolls and are available with adjustable brackets to allow for larger or smaller diameter rolls. To change the rack’s roll capacity, brackets and tubes can be added depending on need. The standard 2-1/2” diameter material storage tubes have cotter pins that keep rolls from unrolling while in transport and storage. Each rack comes complete with four or six smooth rolling 6” casters for easy maneuvering and safety. Racks are manufactured in the USA using steel tubing for all applications with a weight capacity of 3600 lbs. Racks are only 34” in width to allow entry through a standard doorway (11’ long x 6’ high). For ease of operation two handle manual aluminum hand crank is included. An optional power rewind system is available.
