9500 Maximum Security Slide Gate Operator

The DKS 9500 series operators are designed to operate very heavy vehicular slide gates in limited (Class III) and restricted (Class IV) applications only. These operators must never be used in applications serving the general public. The 9500 series uses a high tensile steel alloy roller chain as the pulling medium, which is immune to slippage and un-even terrain and simplifies installation. These operators include a speed control module which allows the user to set the speed of the gate and have a slow-start and slow-stop function as well.

All 9500 Series operator orders MUST be coordinated through a DoorKing Regional Sales Manager.

Large Gates

Power to move massive gates up and down hills. Moves gates up to 160 ft (48.7 m) and 28,000 lb (12,700 kg).

Adjustable Partial Open

Allows long gates to open 14 ft (4.2 m) for automobile traffic, or opens gate fully for large trucks or oversized vans.

User Adjustable Variable Speed

Adjustable speed control circuit.

Limit Switches

Direct driven for precise gate control.

Chain Drive

Delivers a direct mechanical connection to the gate.

Gate Tracker™

Provides operator data to companion DKS Access Controller.(DKS 1833, 1835, 1837, 1838).

A minimum of one (1) Type B1 and one (1) Type B2 entrapment protection devices are required to be installed in each direction of travel with this gate operator.

Operator requires Type B1 and/or Type B2 entrapment protection in each direction of travel, otherwise the operator will not run.
