No one has time for broken overhead doors. Our 300 series high performance commercial garage doors maximize uptime for maximum efficiency. Easy to install with 300,000 maintenance free open and close door cycles, our rapid roll doors will improve productivity in any important opening they are installed. Springs are the major cause of most higher speed roll up door failures. With a springless door design, you get a higher speed overhead door that flawlessly opens and closes every time. The variable frequency drive features smooth higher speed operation, that ensures a soft start and stop. This significantly reduces wear and tear on parts, the door and the operator.

Not just smooth and durable but a rapid door too! Our 300 series industrial garage door features opening speeds of up to 24 inches per second. Installing a higher speed roll up door not only improves productivity by not disrupting work flow, but it can improve energy efficiency. Our insulated model boasts an air leakage rating of less than 0.3 cfm/ft2 - meeting and exceeding ASHRAE® 90.12, 2015 and IECC® and California’s Title 24 air infiltration requirements with an independently tested value of 0.3 cfm/ft².

All 300 Series higher speed roll up doors feature our Apex SmartController - our first intelligent controller. With an easy to use control panel and plug and play wiring, it easily communicates overhead door statuses, sets door limits and has easy to follow instructions for tasks such as door commissioning.

Extreme® Series Door Drive & Control System

This door features our first intelligent control panel - the Apex™ SmartController. It features:

• Plug-and-play connections between the motor, control panel, and standard sensors
• LCD screen that walks user through:
  • Initial door commissioning
  • Electrically set limits
  • Status and error messages
  • Many common door adjustments

This door also comes with a compact direct drive operator with no roller chains or sprockets and an internal inertia brake for safety. It is IP54 rated, which is equivalent to NEMA 3/3S.

• Standard construction up to 30' wide, 20' high

Insulated Door Curtain:

• Standard construction up to 24' wide, 20' high

Usage

These doors are constructed for continuous use and are warrantied up to 300,000 cycles (or two years). Need more than 300,000 cycles, but less than a million? This door can be upgraded to offer 500,000 cycles with a 3 year warranty.

Standard Materials & Finishes

Extreme® 300 Series Performance Doors come with a unique and lasting powder coat finish customized for high-cycle usage as standard. There are two material options for both the service and insulated curtain:

• Galvanized steel:
  • Finished with a rust-inhibiting CycleShield™ finish in Gray, Tan or White
  • The CycleShield finish for High Performance Doors. The base coat is consistent with ASTM A653, and is finished with a baked-on polyester powder coating. CycleShield is:
    • Friction and wear-resistant for high-cycle applications
    • Rust inhibiting and resistant to acids, alkalis and oils at normal temperatures
    • Recommended for exterior, corrosive and/or abrasive environments
    • Available as an option in a palette of more than 180 standard RAL colors
  • For a more durable finish, upgrade to CycleShield® Ultra™ powder coat finish. It is a polyester-based, textured, wear-resistant clear coat that provides improved durability against deterioration and/or marring of the curtain during regular use.

Vibration Isolators

Vibration Isolators effectively reduce the amount of vibration* caused by operation of doors and grilles.*Vibration was reduced by 14% on doors and grilles with Vibration Isolators installed compared to doors and grilles without the system.

LED Light Kit

The LED Light Kit provides a high-visible status indication for overhead doors and grilles. Designed for challenging environments like fire and emergency services, parking garages, and warehouses, the effective LED light strips limit downtime, maintenance, and repair costs.

Seismic Performance Validation

We can provide project specific seismic calculations for all coiling doors that are mounted Face of Wall to steel or masonry. Seismic performance validation is per ASCE 7-05.

Custom Slats

Slats with multiple small window size punched slots that create an open curtain design. Maintains a high level of security while allowing for ventilation and visibility.

Metal cover to protect the coil or operator from exterior weather, debris or to meet OSHA or UL 325 safety requirements.

Vision Windows

Improve aesthetics and visibility with one- or two-way windows incorporated in the curtain.

Safety and Protection Options

Sensing Edge - Entrapment Protection Device

Designed with a flexible black rubber TPE material, our new sensing edge has two fins that conform to variations in the floor on both the interior and exterior of your door or grille ensuring a secure seal without requiring you to overset the bottom door limit. The sensing edge is easy to clean and remains free from rust and dirt stains, maintaining a fresh uniform appearance. With flexible 1" sealing fins, our sensing edges provide maximum protection while withstanding the elements.

Edges are tested and listed to UL 10B as a component of the rolling steel fire door assembly.

Entrapment Protection Devices

Entrapment protection devices ensure that a motorized door or grille will not close on an object. If an object enters path of closure, the entrapment protection device will stop the door or grille from closing and return it to the fully open position.

Guide-Mounted Interlocks

An electrical cutout switch to prevent motor operation if locking device is not first disengaged.

WeatherGard™

Include weather seals at the guides and bottom bar with an internal hood baffle at coil housing. Lintel mounted nylon brush seal also available.
