EntryDefender® Door - Defender Series
The platinum award winning EntryDefender® Door is manufactured to protect official government buildings, medical and legal marijuana dispensaries, manufacturing facilities, and other sensitive designs from break-in for 5, 15 and 60 minutes in accordance with the U.S. Department of State Standard for forced entry SD-STD-01.01, Revision G (Amended). The EntryDefender is the only roll up door in the country that allows experts to customize design in wide doorways without jeopardizing safety and complies with regulations.The EntryDefender Door is ASTM F3038 Compliant.
It may look like a common roll up door from the outside, but the sturdy steel curtain features interlocking slats that contract when in the closed position - creating an even surface that diminishes potential pry points. As the assault continues, the interlocking slats combine together further to avoid division and make the door even more stable. It also features an enhanced bottom bar and hidden locking system that further holds the door closed.

The government standard for forced entry (CODE) was designed for attacks that escalate - not planned attacks. That’s why the testing required for this code requires six men between the ages of 18 and 24 that weigh more than 160 but less than 250 pounds to try and pass a rigid rectangular shape measuring 12” x 12” x 8” or a rigid 12” x 12” cylinder through the door using hand tools such as battering rams, axes, crowbars, and the like.
Sizes
The maximum size available will vary slightly based on the wall construction. If the wall construction is steel, the maximum size is 13’ 11 1/4" wide by 16’ high. If the wall construction is concrete, the maximum size is 13' 8 3/4" wide by 16' high.
Usage
The EntryDefender Door is designed to operate to 20,000 cycles (lifetime) as standard, but can also be customized to handle additional cycles if desired.

The standard materials and finishes for EntryDefender are:
Curtain - 12 gauge 4” flat steel slat with SpectraShield® powder coat in gray.
Guides - Steel with powder coating to match the curtain.
Bottom Bar - 12 gauge 4” face steel bottom bar with powder coat to match the curtain.
Available Operators
The EntryDefender Door features the SG motor operator as standard. It is UL-325 listed with a chain and sprocket drive. It also includes an interlock to prevent operation while locks are engaged.
Static Wind Load
The EntryDefender door is designed for a static wind load of up to 125 psf.

Sensing Edge - Entrapment Protection Device
Designed with a flexible black rubber TPE material, our new sensing edge has two fins that conform to variations in the floor on both the interior and exterior of your door or grille ensuring a secure seal without requiring you to overset the bottom door limit. The sensing edge is easy to clean and remains free from rust and dirt stains, maintaining a fresh uniform appearance. With flexible 1" sealing fins, our sensing edges provide maximum protection while withstanding the elements.
Edges are tested and listed to UL 10B as a component of the rolling steel fire door assembly.
