Safety Handrails - Beacon® BVDKR Series
The Safety Handrails are designed to protect people from drop-offs and uneven walkways. Mounting options include socket sleeves along with cast steel sockets and barricade base for convenient removal of the railings.
Product Details - Construction: This product is constructed of schedule 40 pipe, 1-5/8" in outside diameter. Both aluminum and steel constructions are available.
- Size: Units have a 42" top rail height and a 21" mid-rail height. This series includes various lengths ranging from 24" to 96". Steel sockets allow wood 2" x 4" or 2" x 6" when toeboards are necessary. The steel base has 2 openings for 2" x 4" or 5" toeboards.
- Installation: Cast steel bases include 2 lag down holes to permanently mount rails.
- Color: Steel units feature a Beacon powder coat safety yellow finish. Aluminum units are unfinished.
- Weight: Units come in a variety of weights ranging from 9 to 48 lbs.
- Options: Options, which can be viewed by selecting any Safety Handrails model, include single or double sockets, cast-steel or metal sleeves, barricade bases with feet or wheels, steel gates, connector kits, anchor kits, and toeboards.
