Better Appearance and Quality than Precast Concrete

MeltonStone Cast Stone has a “sugar cube” like finish that looks like cut limestone which distinguishes its appearance from the more rough and pitted finish normally associated with precast concrete, or wet cast concrete. Melton Stone Cast Stone is resistant to weather and dirt, and has a smooth granular finish with no pits or bug holes unlike cast concrete. Due to the superior density of MeltonStone, it resists spalling and weathering of its surface so it retains its beautiful fine granular texture through decades of exposure to the elements. Reinforcements can also be added to MeltonStone to provide the structural advantages of precast concrete with the beauty, uniform surface quality and durability of natural stone.

MeltonStone Cast Stone – Only the Finest Materials

Only the finest quality materials are used in the production of MeltonStone Cast Stone Architectural Elements. MeltonStone Cast Stone is dry tamp cast from fine and coarse aggregates such as limestone, marble, calcite, granite, quartz, natural sands, Portland cement, mineral oxide coloring pigments, chemical admixtures and water. The raw material mixtures for MeltonStone Architectural Cast Stone are proportioned for maximum density and to produce the required fine grained” texture similar to natural stone with no bug-holes permitted as dictated by the Cast Stone Institute.
