Perforated Plastic
Perforated plastic is available in stock sheets or can be custom perforated to meet your needs. Polypropylene perforated plastic comes in a variety of colors and PVC perforated comes in dark grey (type 1 - class1). Perforated plastic is lighter and more corrosive-resistant than perforated steel, making it ideal for many applications.
Perforated plastic products by Ametco can be used in new buildings or remodeling situations. The panels can be utilized in acoustical wall and ceiling projects, railing systems, sun shades, decorative design elements and many more uses.
The choice of perforated patterns and percentage of open area variations increase the number of ideal applications for perforated plastic. Perforations not only reduce the weight of the material, but also permit you to control the flow of air, amount of light and visibility at a location, as well as ambient sound levels.
Ametco uses a 250-ton 60-inch wide high-speed press that can efficiently pound out stock size perforated plastic panels. Other presses can be changed quickly for custom perforated plastic panels. Ametco’s computer-assisted perforating presses provide greater design freedom than ever before.
