Style 805-SR Abrasive Cast Metal Structural Stair Tread

Structural treads and platforms shall be Style No.805-SR as manufactured by American Safety Tread Company, Pelham, Alabama 35124. Telephone 1-800-245-4881. Treads shall be cast in Alumacast, Feracast, Bronzacast or Nickelcast with #24 virgin grain Silicon Carbide granules embedded into the walking surface while the matrix is in a molten state. Platforms shall be furnished with front lip design matching the treads. All metals shall be furnished in natural metal finish. Feracast shall have one coat of shop applied black paint.

Description:Made with a detachable 5/8” thick riser plate, these pre-drilled structural treads satisfy the “no open riser” requirement, while offering more installation flexibility than other integral tread/riser combinations. The 805-SR has been approved for use by the NYCTA. Truss ribs as required. Anti-slip, contrasting color ‘vision line’ optional.

AlumacastCorrosion resistant, maintenance free aluminum alloy all-purpose usage.
FeracastCast iron all-purpose usage. Will withstand heavy industrial punishment. Ships with one coat of shop applied black paint.
Bronzacast/NickelcastNatural bronze finish makes this the ideal choice for an upscale, classic effect.
