WALL CROSSES
MANUFACTURER
As early pioneers in the use of fiberglass (FRP) for architectural applications, Fiberglass Specialties enjoys a rich heritage of meeting their customers' needs through constant innovation and attention to details. Now the leader in the industry, they invite you to explore the possibilities Fiberglass Specialties has to offer.
PRODUCT PRESENTATION
In addition to an impressive line of steeples, baptistries, and cupolas, Fiberglass Specialties offers a complete line of decorative wall crosses. Designed for indoor or outdoor applications, these fiberglass crosses are available in a variety of styles, sizes and finishes. An optional neon backlighting system creates a warm, soft glow that silhouettes the cross against the wall behind it.
Crosses are available in two styles: square bodied or tapered (shown above), in sizes from four feet tall to eighteen feet tall. The entire line can be accessed in the CAD section of the Sweets CD, as well as Fiberglass Specialties' own website and printed literature. The standard line uses existing molds to assure economical pricing. Custom sizes and shapes are also available.
Available finish colors are: White, Bone, Metallic Bronze, Metallic Copper, Metallic Gold, and Metallic Silver.
USES, APPLICATIONS
Primarily used on churches or funeral homes, these crosses are typically located on a prominent exterior wall, or as the focal point of an interior worship space, behind the speaker's platform or baptistry area.
MATERIALS
Fiberglass Specialties wall crosses are fabricated using molded FRP (fiberglass reinforced poyester) with internal reinforcing materials permanently bonded to the laminate. The result is a rigid, durable structure that requires virtually no maintenance. The finish is an integral part of the FRP laminate; unlike paint, the surface will not peel off. This eliminates the cost of repainting associated with other materials.
ASSEMBLY, INSTALLATION
Crosses are easily mounted to the wall using simple "Z" brackets. The optional neon backlighting system should be installed by a professional electrician.
