Rubber Stair Treads All stair treads indicated in the finish schedule or otherwise listed in this specification shall be FLEXCO® ___________ (Radial®, Radial® II, Square2, Smooth, Diamond or Hammered) Stair Treads manufactured by FLEXCO, Tuscumbia, AL 35674. Treads shall be homogenously constructed of first-quality resilient rubber compound and molded with a ____________ (Radial, Radial II, Square2, Smooth, Diamond or Hammered) design profile. Treads shall be free from objectionable odors, blisters, cracks and other imperfections which will detract from the serviceability and appearance of the treads. Treads shall conform to ASTM F 2169, Type TS, and shall contain no asbestos fiber. Treads shall be ________ (1/4", 5/32", 1/8", 3/16" or 5/16") nominal thickness and have _______ (square, round, metal reinforced or adjustable) nosing with a depth of __________ (1-1/2", 1-1/8", 1-9/16", 1-3/4" or 1-3/8"). Treads shall have a depth of __________ (12-3/4", 12", 19-15/16" or 20-3/8") and length of ___________ (36", 42", 48", 54", 60", 72", 84" 96" or 108") and be in the color stated. Treads shall meet Class 1 NFPA 101 Life Safety Code. Recommended FLEXCO adhesive must be used for the installation of this product. Stair Treads For The Visually ImpairedAll stair treads indicated in the finish schedule or otherwise listed in this specification shall be FLEXCO Type _______ (130, 170, 575, 585, 675, 685, 775, 875, 1775 or 1975) Rubber Stair Treads manufactured by FLEXCO, Tuscumbia, AL 35674. Treads shall be homogeneously constructed of first-quality raw materials and shall be of two contrasting colors and __________ (smooth or raised) texture. Contrasting texture strip shall be 3/4" (7/8" on 170 and 675) from the nose and a minimum of 2" wide. Treads shall be free from objectionable odors, blisters, cracks and other imperfections which will detract from the serviceability and appearance of the treads. Treads shall conform to ASTM F 2169, Type TS, and shall contain no asbestos fiber. Treads shall be ______ (3/16", 5/16", 1/4", or 5/32") thick at the nose, tapering to _________ (1/8" or 3/32"). Nose of the treads shall be internally reinforced with ______ (metal, standard or adjustable) nose. Treads shall have _________ (square, adjustable or standard) nosing with a depth of _____ (1-1/2", 1-1/8", 1-9/16", 1-3/4", and 1-3/8").
