The Company was founded in 1956 by Raymond Enkeboll, who initially built a successful furniture manufacturing business on the principles of what he called “grace, beauty, and an appreciation of what has come before.” He discovered an unmet need for quality architectural embellishments when he was building his own new 75,000 square foot “Castle Headquarters” in Carson, California. It was at this point that he refocused Enkeboll on the design and manufacture of architectural wood elements. His designs were inspired by antique pieces and folk art he encountered in his travels across Europe and Asia. Enkeboll Designs continues to carry on his legacy of creating art and beauty. 
Enkeboll’s extensive inventory of over 900 items includes corbels, finials, onlays, crowns, moldings, arches, and mantels. Patterns range from swan and lion mantel bases to grape medallions and floral trims. With its assortment of designs, offered in several wood species, the company creates designs that incorporate elegance, craftsmanship and performance in every detail. In addition to playing an essential part in the beautification of the home, for both new construction and renovations, Enkeboll accents are also used in commercial and historic environments. 
Many Enkeboll staff members have worked for the company for generations, and are steeped in the family tradition of discipline and excellence. Standards are rigorously high at every phase of design and manufacture. 30% of raw wood stock received at the factory is rejected. Only the finest woods are chosen to be masterfully shaped and sanded into forms that are as consistent in quality as they are unique. Manufacturing and shipping is direct from the company’s plant in Carson, California. Most orders are shipped within 3 days. Enkeboll Designs manufacturing facility, corporate headquarters, and showroom are located at 16506 Avalon Blvd., Carson, CA 90746. The showroom is open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Pacific Time Monday-Friday and includes rooms creatively decorated with Enkeboll products. |
