Modular Acrylic Steam Rooms
For thousands of years, the steam bath has been an important part of Roman bathing culture. Based on the company’s sauna bath design experience, Helo has developed a steam room which provides a healthy, restful ambience and absolute comfort for the bather. The steam rooms are both beautiful and practical.

Steam bathing has benefits similar to sauna, but in a very different climate. Unlike the high heat and drier conditions of a sauna, a Roman-style steam bath is taken in warm, moist conditions. With very high humidity (up to 100%) and lower temperatures (100 to 120 degrees F) there are many beneficial effects.

The high glaze acrylic steam rooms are pre-fabricated and easy-to-install. And because they are modular, these free-standing complete packages allow you, in no time at all, to enjoy the soothing relaxation of steam.

A Helo steam room can provide perfect comfort for two to eleven people, and will fit into almost any residential or commercial space.

These popular steam rooms are now available with handicap accessible doors. Type 1, 2, 3 are with standard doors only. Type 4, 5 and 6 are with handicap accessible doors only. Helo steam rooms means easy cleaning and little maintenance because there is no grout to clean, no tiles to replace. Our modules are of gleaming 8mm acrylic sheeting with ABS reinforcement (no fiberglass).

Helo acrylic steam suites are perfect for new or remodeling bathroom projects. Replace standard tubs and showers with these beautiful self-contained, vapor-proof enclosures. Helo offers six styles to choose from. Available in single piece construction or 3-piece “renovator” units to fit through standard interior doorways (3-piece not available for 306 and 377). Most feature comfortable seats and stunning glass fronts. Add a drop or two of your favorite fragrance to enhance the whole wonderful steam experience.

Helo Steam Suites feature fully-sealed, beautifully-designed glass enclosure door and front, and of course a Helo steam generator system. The steam suite walls are of acrylic — wonderfully warm to the touch, yet amazingly hard — a breeze to care for, wiping to a beautiful shine with mild soap and water.

Helo Generators and Controls
Helo Steam Generators, the new industry standard.

With its beautiful stainless steel outer enclosure and black endcaps – the Helo HSX steam generators are as attractive as they are functional. Helo's steam generator designs are intelligent and feature top quality material and workmanship. You might say, "They've thought of everything!" Helo's design assures very easy installation with controls simply plugging into the generator. Helo steam generators have stainless steel tanks with Incalloy 825 elements for high output and long life. Helo’s “gentle steam” function automatically reduces its power when the set temperature is achieved, providing more continuous steam, dispersed evenly. The HSX unit has an electronic low-water cut-out, a safety pressure release valve and drain. Insulated steamhead includes reservoir for mixing fragrance with steam. Options include an automatic flush system and digital controls.

SX-60 Digital Control
Mounts inside or outside the steam bath. Sleek, digital, obround design with generator on/off, digital readout of temp. and time remaining, and adjustable time and temp. Low voltage, flush mount. 33/16"H x 47/8"W x 1/4"D. Use with HSX generators. Up to 60 minute programmable time.

SX-30 Control
Same design and dimensions as SX-60, except non-digital. The SX-30 display window lights up when the generator is on. It has a built-in 30 minute timer and an adjustable temperature range from 100 to 125 degrees F. A simple on-off function operates the generator. SX-60 and SX-30 can be used in conjunction with one another or separate.

Low Voltage On/Off Switch
Mounted inside or outside the steambath, this switch allows the bather to turn the generator on and off from inside or outside. Has integral indicator light. SX-60, SX-30 and On/Off Switch are available with the outer ring in white, chrome or gold.

Helo generators include Insulated SafeTouch Steamheads with Fragrance Reservoir These steamheads are specially designed with a reservoir for a perfect mixture of scent and steam. Steamhead has an insulated inner core for additional steambath safety (maximum surface temperature is 125 degrees F). Available in chrome, gold, brass, nickel, or white.

Helo 120V Generator
Ideal for converting small acrylic shower enclosures into luxurious steambaths. The 120V generator provides the ambience of soft/gentle steam at lower temperatures than standard steam units. Simply plumb cold water to the unit, add a steam line to the shower space, plug it in to a 120 volt outlet — and your steambath is ready to use.
