STYLE 840 Wire Mesh Partitions

Product Overview

WireCrafters’ Style 840 partition system utilizes twenty standard sized panels and three standard height posts to build any enclosure. The angle framed wire mesh panels come in two heights (4’ 0” and 5’ 0”) and ten lengths (1’ 0” through 10’ 0” in one foot increments). Stack two or more panels between posts to achieve desired wall height. Posts, with welded on base plates, anchor the layout to floor at maximum 10’ 2” centers and provide support for partition walls. A full line of hinged and sliding doors complete the system.

Features

Standard mesh is 10 gauge wire woven into 2” x 1” opening mesh.
Panels may be ordered with any mesh, 16 gauge sheet metal, or clear Lexan®.
Standard frames 1-1/4” x 1-1/4” x 1/8” steel angle, heavier frames available.
Posts are made of 2” square 14 gauge tubing, with foot plates welded on.
Standard 3/8” mounting hardware is the heaviest in the industry.
Angle frame design gives installer clear access to hardware, speeding installation.
Assembly hardware is inaccessible from the exterior of the partition.
Sliding doors have patented tamper resistant latch mechanism.
Standard size panels work in ceilings and walls.
Detailed erection drawings supplied with each layout.
Product’s inherent strength eliminates the need for channel stiffeners required by competing brands.
Attractive inter-crimped woven wire mesh is strong and aesthetically pleasing.

Modular Panels

Ten widths, 1’ to 10’ in one foot increments.
Two heights: 4’-0” and 5’-0”.
Full height partition walls are built by stacking two or more panels between posts.
Standard mesh: 10 gauge wire woven into 2" x 1" rectangular openings.
Frame 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 1/8" steel angle.
Custom size panels available.
Alternate meshes available

Adjustable Panel

Solid sheet metal panel.
Fill small gaps in runs.
Allows for adjustment from 1" to 11".
Ideal for hard to measure areas.
Two heights: 4' and 5' match panel heights.

Posts

Stock sizes: 8’-5 1/4”, 10’-5 1/4”, 12’-5 1/4”.
Special length posts are available to 40’.
Standard hole layout allows for 3-1/4” sweep-space.
Posts project 2” above top of panel.
Standard base plate: 2” x 7” with holes for anchors.
Oversized base plates are available.
Floor anchors (3/8”) are included with your order.

Hinged Doors

3’ or 4’ wide by 7’ 3-1/4” high opening.
Transom panel sized to match partition height.
Feature three 4” x 4” 10 gauge steel tight pin hinges.
Padlock lugs standard, cylinder locks available.
Complete with two door posts and hardware.
Universal construction, works for left or right hand, inside or outside swing.

Dutch Doors

Same as Hinged Door with following exceptions:
Two separate operating door leafs.
Bottom leaf locks with padlock; cylinder lock optional.
Top leaf locks to bottom leaf with spring bolt, and to overhead transom with chain bolt.
10 gauge shelf, 18” deep x door width fixed to bottom leaf.
Must specify hand and swing of door.

Double Hinged Doors

6’ or 8’ wide by 7’ 3-1/4” high opening.
Inactive leaf secured by cane bolt (base) and chain bolt (top).
Padlock lugs standard, cylinder locks available.
Complete with two door posts and all hardware.
Transom panel sized to match partition height.
Custom size and no over head obstruction doors available.

Sliding Doors

3’, 4’, 5’, 6’ or 10’ widths.
Full height partition opening of 8’ or 10’.
Universal construction, works for left/right hand, inside/outside.
Features patented tamper-resistant sliding gate receiver.
Padlock lug standard, cylinder lock optional.
Custom sizes available.

Tunnel Doors

Designed for no overhead obstruction.
Leading edge of door rolls on floor casters.
Rear of door hangs from door track.
Ideal for high traffic areas.

Ceilings

Ceiling panels interchangeable with wall panels.

MATERIALS

PANELS - Shall be 10gauge steel wire crimped and woven in to 2” x 1” opening rectangular mesh, securely welded into a frame of 1-1/4” x 1-1/4” x 1/8” steel angle factory punched with 7/8” x 7/16” slotted holes to accept 3/8” mounting hardware. Panels four to six feet wide shall have one 1/4” x 3/4” flat stiffener, wider panels receive two 1/4” x 3/4” stiffeners. All panels shall be fastened to posts with 3/8” x 3” plated bolts and nuts.

DOORS - Hinged shall be constructed of the same materials as the panels with two 1/4” x 3/4” horizontal stiffeners across the width, and two diagonal 1/4” x 3/4” stiffeners from center to the corner. Hinged doors shall be equipped with padlock lugs (cylinder lock optional), three 4” x 4” spun pin hinges, and pick plate/slam bar assembly.

DOORS - Sliding shall be constructed of the same materials as the panels with two 1/4” x 3/4” horizontal stiffeners across the width, and two vertical 1/4” x 3/4” stiffeners from center to top or bottom. Sliding doors shall be equipped with two 4 wheel trolley trucks, 1-7/8” x 2-3/8” door track, pad lock lugs (cylinder lock optional), and door keeper assembly.

POSTS - Shall be made of 2” x 2” x 14 gauge steel tubing. Base plates of 2” x 7” x 1/4” steel flat with two 7/16” round holes for anchoring, shall be welded to each tube. Posts are factory drilled with 1/2” holes to accept hardware for mounting panels.

HARDWARE - Shall be 3/8” standard thread grade two plated nuts and bolts. Floor anchors are 3/8” wedge type-provided.

FINISH - Non-plated parts receive one coat of gray acrylic enamel. Touch up paint included with each shipment.
