Dolomitic Limestone

Mankato Kasota Stone is a dolomitic limestone quarried and fabricated in Southern Minnesota. What makes this five-hundred-million-year-old stone distinctive is its magnesium rich property that produces a stronger, less porous, abrasion resistant limestone, which allows a unique variety of cuts and finishes to be used for either interior or exterior applications from simple pavers to towering skyscrapers.

Dolomitic Limestone is:

  • 100% Recyclable
  • Contains No Hazardous Material
  • Requires only Natural Cleaners for maintenance
  • Is Sustainable for hundreds of years

Mankato Kasota Stone, Inc.

Since its foundation in 1885 by T.R. Coughlan, Mankato Kasota Stone, Inc. has quarried and fabricated a unique deposit of dolomitic limestone in southern Minnesota. Coughlan, Mankato Kasota Stone continues to provide exceptionally crafted custom stone products that will enhance the beauty and durability of any design, at an affordable price.
