High Security / Vandal Resistant Closers

Heavy-duty cast iron cylinder for exceptional service life. All-weather hydraulic fluid eliminates seasonal adjustments. All exposed fasteners are TORX machine screws to provide maximum resistance to tampering and abuse. Tested to over 10 million cycles to reduce replacement and long term costs.

2210 Series Concealed Closer

  • The concealed 2210 series track closer features complete concealment with special components to minimize tampering and vandalism
  • Based on LCN's concealed, forged steel single lever arm closer, the 2210 DPS combines heavy-duty components and a built-in DPS (Door Position Switch) to provide high security
  • Mounting: single acting in head frame concealed arm and track in top rail of door
  • AVB (Advanced Variable Backcheck) optional, provides resistance at the mid-point of the opening swing. Cylinder begins backcheck at approximately 45° instead of 80°
  • Extra heavy-duty forged steel arm with a low friction roller for strength and security DPS optional field adjustable switch can interface with security and monitoring systems Warranty: Two years

4210 Series Surface Mounted Closer

  • The 4210 series closer is a rugged surface-mounted parallel arm closer. The heavy-duty Smoothee cylinder and specially built components meet the needs of facilities where door hardware is vulnerable to tampering and abuse
  • Application-specific closers are designed to provide optimized door control for a specific mounting configuration
  • Interior doors to 5'0" (152.4cm)
    Exterior doors to 4'0" (121.9cm)
  • Full metal cover attached with four TORX fasteners
  • Delay action (optional) provides additional time for people to move through the door
  • Arms: Solid forged steel main arm and forearm. Riveted studs at arm joints. EDA standard. Cush-N-Stop and H-Cush-N-Stop are optional
